With the Travel-up raffle to Budapest

What has Class 8A at the Bundesoberrealgymnasium (BORG) Radstadt in the province of Salzburg done right? At the end of 2024, they took part in the Travel-up competition organized by the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol – and won! The EUR 3.000,- travel prize boosted the budget for the class trip to Budapest from 22. to 25. April 2025, enabling the students to experience the historic city and its cultural highlights in a particularly diverse way.

Memorable experiences in Budapest

Together with their teacher, the students immersed themselves in the vibrant life of Budapest. A guided tour of the Jewish quarter focused on street art, accompanied by fascinating stories about the city and its inhabitants. A boat trip on the Danube offered new perspectives on the illuminated parliament building, the castle district, and the Fisherman's Bastion. In the historic castle district, the group also explored the magnificent St. Stephen's Hall on a guided tour. The fascinating visual effects of the Cinema Mystica exhibition also left a lasting impression. In addition to the cultural program, joint activities such as bowling, game nights with pizza, and karaoke ensured lots of fun and strengthened the class's cohesion.
