Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The participants:
• understand the motivations behind human needs: Why do we do what we do?
• understand the principles of employee management: motivations and strategies
• understand stress management strategies (“self-management”) and can apply them
• understand the difference between an entrepreneur, a manager, and a skilled worker
• understand different leadership styles and can distinguish between them
• understand the basics of employee management and can apply them to simple cases
• understand the relationships between leadership and power, leadership and strategy, leadership and communication, and leadership and stress
• are familiar with key leadership practices and their tools
• understand the DISG model
• are familiar with the most important motivation theories and strategic leadership models
• can apply what they have learned in initial practical exercises on group dynamics, communication, understanding roles, and hierarchies
• can distinguish between tools for improving performance, fostering communication, and supporting employees—including their systemic advantages and disadvantages - and apply them in practice during initial exercises

- Motivators, hygiene factors, motivation models
- Stress management techniques, stress traffic light, work-life balance, burnout
- Tools for achieving corporate goals
- Strategy & business model, mission & vision
- Organization (structure, processes)
- Communication (sender-receiver model, 4-level model, transactional analysis)
- Basic psychological models (motivation, power, group dynamics, systems theory)
