Course content
Introduction to Austrian cultural history with a special focus on the culture and history of Kufstein and the Tyrol. The course is designed to familiarize students with the place where they will spend their semester abroad and to give them a deeper understanding of cultural-historical phenomena.
Course structure:
Theory: Lecture on the basics of cultural history, as well as the history and culture of Kufstein, the Tyrol and Austria.
Practice: 3 excursions to Kufstein, Innsbruck, Salzburg.
Group work: Discussion of the communication of cultural-historical content.
