INNterconnect - The Cross-Border Cultural Network

Borders divide – culture unites. INNterconnect brings together creatives, cultural initiatives, and decision-makers from the Rosenheim/Kufstein region to share experiences, forge connections, and launch joint projects. Join us and actively shape the creative landscape of the Inn Valley.

Why participate

• Meet people who are working on projects: in art, music, theatre, media, design, literature and cultural work.
• Learn about best practices across borders – what really works, what brings visibility – also in the digital space.
• Specifically, the aim is to develop initial approaches to cooperation in moderated short workshops.
• Empowering young cultural professionals: a platform for new voices, mentoring and networking Kick-off to an annual series – alternating between Kufstein and Rosenheim

Overview of the process

• Arrival & Warm-up: Drinks, initial conversations and small showcase impressions from the region
• Welcome & Introductory Remarks: Short presentations on “Creative Border Regions – Opportunities & Challenges” and examples of how cultural projects successfully collaborate across national borders.
• Creative voices from the Inn Valley: Concise insights from Bavaria and Tyrol – ideas, learnings, contacts
• Networking break: Drinks, themed tables and plenty of time to get to know each other.
• Idea spaces: three short, moderated workshop rounds
  - Joint event formats 
  - Visibility & communication across borders
  - Utilize infrastructure & creative spaces
• Summary of results & outlook: What are our key takeaways, and what are the next steps? Followed by open networking.

What does INInterconnect stand for?

INNterconnect is more than just an evening: It is the start of an annual networking series in the creative region of the Inn Valley – in the future alternating between Kufstein and Rosenheim.

The goal: lasting contacts, joint projects, and greater visibility for cultural work on both sides of the border. students from the Kufstein University of Applied Sciences in Tyrol are attending the meeting, documenting the results, and contributing fresh perspectives.
