Ideas become Reality

Elementary School Students become Changemakers

On Changemaker Market Day 2026, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol will be transformed into a bustling marketplace brimming with ideas, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. Around 60 elementary school students from Sparchen Elementary School, along with students from the Leadership & Management degree program, will present their own projects, products, and ideas.

This project combines entrepreneurship education, creativity, and social engagement to demonstrate how young children can learn to take responsibility, bring ideas to life, and believe in their own abilities.

Changemaker Market Day is a collaborative learning project between the Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at FH Kufstein Tirol and Sparchen Elementary School, in partnership with the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

What Visitors can expect:

• Presentations of creative business ideas by elementary school students
• Market stalls featuring products developed by the students themselves
• Interaction between students, children, teachers, and guests
• A glimpse into entrepreneurship education in practice

In the weeks leading up to market day, the children develop their own business ideas in workshops. On market day, they showcase, present, and sell these ideas at market stalls.

Changemaker Market Day brings the spirit of entrepreneurship to life. Through play, children learn that their ideas matter and that they can make a difference, all while being guided by students who contribute their knowledge and dedication to this special learning project.
