Visitors clearly enjoyed the atmosphere at Hechtsee Open Air.
On 26. April 2025, the idyllic Hechtsee lake in Kufstein was transformed into an exciting event location: the Hechtsee Open Air – Dein LakeEscape celebrated its premiere and became an unforgettable experience for around 400 enthusiastic visitors.
The one-day music event Hechtsee Open Air – Dein LakeEscape was organized by the Genussmittel association and a dedicated team of students from the Sports, Culture & Event Management degree program at the FH Kufstein Tirol. Live music, culinary offerings, exciting side events, and a lively after-party in the city center captivated visitors. Under the motto WHERE MUSIC MEETS SUMMER, the festival offered top entertainment from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. with three energetic live bands and a DJ who created a lively atmosphere by the lake with pop and rock music. In pleasant weather, guests enjoyed regional delicacies and refreshing drinks in addition to the music – the perfect start to early summer.
AN EVENT NOT TO BE MISSED
The creative side events were a particular highlight: visitors to the regional stands of QUART Piercing and Concept as well as stein.sinn were able to discover handmade accessories and fashion or spontaneously book a piercing appointment. Of course, classics such as beer pong and table tennis were also a must for the students.
The guests celebrated late into the night at Hechtsee with good music and a great atmosphere.
OUR GOAL WAS TO CREATE A UNIQUE AND UNIFYING EVENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF KUFSTEIN AND OUR STUDENTS—AND WE ACHIEVED IT.

A COMMON SUCCESS
The grand finale followed at ten o'clock in the evening: the after-party at the Kufstein bar Pure rounded off the event in style and ensured a long night of partying. The organizing team was more than satisfied with the premiere of the Hechtsee Open Air – the family atmosphere, the smooth implementation, and the positive feedback from visitors confirmed the students' feelings.
With this successful start, the Hechtsee Open Air has the potential to establish itself as a fixed part of Kufstein's event calendar.
