The graduates followed the ceremonial program items in the Festsaal (Festivities Hall)
On Friday, November 7, 2025, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol celebrated the graduation of 17 graduates from the MBA General Management and Automotive & Mobility Management programs. The participants' achievements were honored with moving speeches, proud moments, and warm applause.
The International Business School of the FH Kufstein Tirol held a graduation ceremony for 14 graduates from the MBA General Management program and three from the Automotive & Mobility Management program. They received their certificates in the university's ceremonial hall and celebrated the successful completion of their studies together with family, friends, teachers, and guests of honor.
After the ceremonial entrance, Prof. (FH) Dr. Kristina Kampfer, academic director of the MBA program, opened the ceremony with warm words: “Now is the time when you can sit back and relax. Today, you can no longer fail – enjoy this moment.”
YOU ARE THE ARCHITECTS OF OUR WORLD – AND THE WORLD NEEDS YOU MORE THAN EVER.
Prof. (FH) PD Dr. Mario Döller
FH Rector
She reminded them that the part-time degree program had taught them much more than just knowledge: “By graduating, you have shown that success is not a matter of chance, but the result of preparation, courage, and a willingness to continuously develop yourself further.”
COURAGE, ATTITUDE, AND RESPONSIBILITY
FH Rector Prof. (FH) PD Dr. Mario Döller then spoke, praising the graduates as important shapers of the future: “You are the architects of our world – and the world needs you more than ever,” emphasized Döller.
He spoke about the challenges of the present day – from technological upheavals to social crises – and appealed to the attitude of the graduates: “It takes not only knowledge, but also attitude. Intolerance and racism have no place in our world – that's where you come in as role models.”
A LOCATION WITH VISION
Prof. (FH) Dr. Thomas Madritsch, Managing Director of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, also looked back on the development of the university and its educational mission. He reminded the audience that education has been at the heart of Kufstein's identity for over 25 years: “Those who invest in education demonstrate foresight. And you have all proven in recent years that learning requires courage, perseverance, and enthusiasm.”
With a wink, he thanked the students' families and partners: “Studying while working is no walk in the park – thank you to everyone who had to do without their loved ones on many a Friday evening.”
STRONG VOICES OF THE STUDENTS
The closing speech for the Automotive & Mobility Management course was given by Marlene Maierhofer, who aptly described the spirit of the group: “Every weekend here was inspiring, exciting, and full of new perspectives. We not only learned, but also experienced what responsibility and quality mean in the automotive industry.”
She drew an impressive comparison: “Our healthcare system works at a high level across the board – and that's exactly how I want the automotive industry to be one day. We are taking this knowledge with us into our businesses and into the future.”
Lukas Figl, MBA, gave an emotional and humorous speech on behalf of the MBA General Management program. He recalled two years full of highs, lows, and solidarity: “This program was more than just a master's degree—it was a journey with too little sleep, lots of coffee, and great people.”
He emphasized that leadership is primarily about humanity, and concluded with the words:
“Today marks the end of a chapter full of laughter, learning, and life – it was damn good to have been part of it.”
A festive conclusion with responsibility
After the ceremonial reading of the academic oath by Rector Döller, all graduates took the traditional oath – a symbol of integrity and responsibility in scientific and professional conduct.
Prof. (FH) Dr. Kristina Kampfer summed up the spirit of the evening with a final appeal:
“Don't settle – stay curious, courageous, and human. Keep learning, but never forget what really matters: the people who accompany you.”
The evening ended with loud applause, numerous congratulations, and a reception in the foyer of the university, where students, relatives, and teachers toasted their success together.
The University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol congratulates all graduates on completing their MBA in General Management and the Automotive & Mobility Management program and wishes them all the best for their professional and personal future.
