The Strategic HR Leadership certificate program is aimed at managers who wish to deepen their strategic skills.
The University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol is offering a new certificate course in Strategic HR Leadership from autumn. The part-time course comprises 16 ECTS credits and is aimed at HR specialists and managers as well as managing directors who want to deepen their strategic skills in the area of people and organisation.
The International Business School at University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol is expanding its continuing education programme with the new Strategic HR Leadership certificate course. The part-time course is aimed at specialists and managers in human resources as well as managing directors who want to expand their strategic skills in the area of people and organisation. The programme starts in the winter semester 2025/26 and registrations are now open.
The university course provides practical know-how in strategic HR management, leadership, organisational development and people analytics. There is a particular focus on a modern understanding of leadership in the context of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity), New Work and digital transformation. The aim of the programme is to enable HR managers and managing directors to actively shape future-oriented HR work and make a sustainable contribution to corporate value creation. The programme comprises 16 ECTS credits and can be completed within one semester. Teaching takes place in compact block units in hybrid form (on site and online).
STRATEGIC HR MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP COMPETENCES
"Today, HR management has to do much more than just fulfil administrative tasks. With this course, we are creating a practical format that enables HR specialists to further develop their role as strategic partners in corporate management," emphasises Prof. (FH) Dr Mario Situm, MBA course director for Corporate Management, Leadership & Business Management, Business Psychology and Corporate Transformation Management.
A central element of the course is the targeted transfer of practical experience: as part of the P&O transformation project module, participants develop a specific project from their own company context. Accompanied by experienced experts, they work out how HR can be strategically aligned and made fit for the future - with direct benefits for the organisation and a lasting learning effect for the participants.

The Strategic HR Leadership certificate programme is aimed at people with professional experience in the HR sector, particularly in a managerial or advisory role. Participants benefit greatly from the combination of scientifically sound content, current HR trends and best practices from corporate practice.
