At the second partner meeting of the INTERREG CE project GREENE 4.0, 29 participants from seven countries met in Kufstein.
As part of the project, which focuses on promoting sustainable innovation in cross-border regions, the second meeting took place in October. The two-day event provided a platform for discussion and exchange.
After the kick-off meeting in April 2023, which took place in the Pomurje Technology Park in Murska Sobota, Slovenia, the Kufstein University was able to invite to the second on-site meeting in Kufstein. The GREENE 4.0 partner meeting brought together 29 representatives from seven different European countries and nine different organizations.
EXCHANGE OF INITIAL PROJECT RESULTS
The participants shared their experiences and presented progress made in the project. The goal of creating better access to solutions for smart and sustainable technologies for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies has already been taken an important step closer. Among the highlights were the first substantive results from the survey of companies, which was conducted in all individual project regions. It became clear that companies in the various countries face similar hurdles and challenges on the path to digital and green transformation. Three interactive co-creation sessions were held to find out how best to meet these needs. The participants developed creative ideas for the further course of the project and discovered cross-border synergy effects that can be used effectively for the project objective.
DEVELOPMENT OF A USER ACCEPTANCE MODEL
After just a few months, the GREENE 4.0 project has already established itself as a trailblazer for sustainable innovation and aims to help small and medium-sized enterprises transform into more digital and greener business models. The next step is to develop a user acceptance model to measure and optimize the acceptance and satisfaction of companies with regard to smart and sustainable solutions.
Interested companies are welcome to test the User Acceptance Model in practice. Through their participation, needs can be understood even better and experiences can be actively incorporated into the project results. They will be the first to benefit from the networking between manufacturing industries, start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises.
