In a good mood for the future: Patrick Funke-Rapp after his interview about rentnsend and international success.
In the season finale of Stories behind Students, we introduce Patrick Funke-Rapp (21). He tells us how he got his startup off to a flying start in Tokyo. We also find out what drives him - from childhood projects to friendships and new ideas.
The fifth episode of Stories behind Students - G'schichten ausm Leben concludes the first season of our new video format. This time, we introduce Patrick Funke-Rapp - a 21-year-old student at FH Kufstein Tirol, who not only won the Red Bull Basement Austria innovation competition with his start-up rentnsend, but has also entered international stages.
In the video, we learn more about Patrick's entrepreneurial journey - from his first projects, such as a self-developed school app, to his participation in the Red Bull Basement World Final in Tokyo. There, he presented his idea for a sustainable rental system for sports equipment - originally called EcoSportnation, now further developed and operating under the new name rentnsend.
What drives a young founder, how do hobbies such as cycling trips and YouTube projects develop into entrepreneurial ideas - and what do you take away from such a journey? Patrick talks openly about successes, challenges and his vision for the future.
It's worth clicking in - at the end of the first season of Stories behind Students.
