The big Chance: Emma Reithofer tells her story

Our video series Stories behind Students is entering its second round – and this time with a student whom many already know from television: Emma Reithofer, 20 years old, from Burgenland and a student in the Bachelor's program in Sports, Culture & Event Management at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol.

Before starting her studies, Emma stood on one of the country's biggest stages. In the ORF casting show Die große Chance, she sang her way to the final with her emotional voice, reaching an audience of millions. The experience was a turning point for her: a moment that combined courage, growth, and new opportunities—both personally and musically.

Today, Emma continues to pursue her path step by step. In addition to her studies, she works on new songs, shoots music videos, and consistently develops her own sound. Her music is direct, sensitive, and conveys her clear stance: she writes about feelings, inner conflicts, and decisions that require courage. At the same time, she remains down-to-earth in her everyday life—between university, commuting, moments of nature in Kufstein, and her guitar in the student dorm.
