Guiding Principles for Research
Since its founding in 1997, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol has stood for pronounced practical relevance and lived-out internationality, which is reinforced through excellence in applied research and continuous further development.
Guiding Principle for Research
We have been recognized nationally and internationally for our application-oriented research as we take on an active role in the development of innovative research fields that sustainable improve coexistence among humans and thereby contribute to consistent knowledge expansion in industry, society and science. We achieve this by training young people with an aptitude for learning and innovation skills as well as by addressing significant economic and social challenges.
We regard diversity amongst university members as an opportunity for establishing excellence in interdisciplinary research and create framework conditions that promote cooperation within this diversity. We are committed to research integrity by aligning ourselves with basic ethical research values and standards as defined in the “European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity” of ALLEA.
We utilize our potential for scientific research skills together with regional, national and international partners from industry, society and science. We also provide personal and professional further development opportunities for our employees and shape the university’s profile through innovative research and development projects while also contributing to the attainment of highly valuable qualifications.
