Knowledge and education are among the highest values for us at the FH Kufstein Tirol. We have made it our mission not only to convey these values to our students, but also to consciously pass them on to our employees.
In order to fulfil this requirement, we offer you a wide range of professional and personal training opportunities and actively support you in your development. In addition to a comprehensive internal training programme, we also work with external training providers.
Education is very significant to us, so we also actively facilitate career breaks, such as educational leave or part-time educational leave, in order to provide you with the best possible support for your further development and offer you the necessary freedom to do so.

TEACHING & RESEARCH

OFFICE
Are you communicative, have a talent for organisation and feel comfortable in the world of numbers? Do you enjoy coordinating appointments, writing letters and working with people as much as with computers? If you choose this apprenticeship, you will have the office perfectly under control.
As an apprentice (f/m/d) in the office
- you will organise everyday office life at our University of Applied Sciences.
- you will ensure that administrative procedures run smoothly and coordinate appointments.
- you will deal with correspondence and always have the most important facts and figures to hand.
You will learn
- commercial know-how and how to use IT systems.
- everything from payment transactions and appointment coordination to bookkeeping.
- how to create an efficient office organisation.
Apprenticeship period: 3 years
IT TECHNOLOGY
Do you enjoy computers and don't just use them for leisure activities? Are you enthusiastic about hardware and technology? In a world in which nothing works without IT, as an IT systems technician you will make a significant contribution to the smooth running of our University of Applied Sciences.
As an apprentice (f/m/d) in IT systems engineering
- you set up hardware and install software.
- you are responsible for all IT devices and networks.
- you will be the contact person for IT problems, identifying and solving errors.
You will learn
- IT know-how from hardware to software.
- everything about networks and IT infrastructure.
- how to set up computers properly and install software packages.
Apprenticeship period: 4 years
System catering
Do you have a passion for cooking and do you feel at home in the world of catering? Do you love presenting food in an appealing way and enjoy socialising with people? If you choose this apprenticeship, you will discover a diverse world of culinary creations.
As an apprentice (f/m/d) in system catering
- you will prepare food for guests in our diner.
- supervise our guests and take orders in Café.04.
- organise all areas in our café and diner in terms of hygiene and quality.
You will learn
- catering know-how from the cold to the hot kitchen.
- everything that makes a successful concept in system catering.
- how the high standards of quality and hygiene can be maintained.
Apprenticeship period: 3 years
