Project Description

INNterconnect is launching a cross-border creative network in the Inn Valley (Rosenheim – Kufstein). A facilitated networking event will bring together creative professionals, cultural stakeholders, students, and partner organizations from both sides of the border to meet, share best practices, and spark initial collaboration ideas. The focus is on in-person encounters, low-threshold impulses, and a hands-on workshop phase centered on joint event formats, visibility/communication, and the use of creative infrastructure.

FH Kufstein Tirol is responsible for concept, organization, and documentation (including through student involvement), while the Rosenheim District Office supports regional outreach, stakeholder engagement, and communications. The goal is to build sustainable connections and kick off follow-up formats.

Concept and Approach

Goals:

  • Establish and activate a cross-border network for the cultural and creative industries
  • Build trust and foster cooperation among stakeholders on both sides of the border

Approach:

  • Public, jointly organized networking event (approx. 50 participants) with a keynote/short talks, “creative voices” from the region, facilitated workshops, and structured documentation of results

Expected Outcomes:

  • Documented workshop results (minutes/photos/videos)
  • Visible coverage (news/posts at regional/local level)
  • Foundation for follow-up formats and a lasting contact list
