Analysis of image data from cross-border traffic.

Development of a resilient, ecological and economical cross-border mobility for people and goods in the Euregio Inntal with a focus on commercial traffic. The focus is on the analysis of image data from video camera systems (Langkampfen and Kiefersfelden) to count vehicles according to specific regions. The project is in line with the Josef Ressel Center (JRZ) Vision2Move.

  • Counting traffic in a cross-border context in Langkampfen and Kiefersfelden
  • Analysis of traffic volume and classification of road users over a longer period of time. Analysis of the origin of the vehicles (districts and nationalities)
  • Survey of transport demand using market research and derivation of public transport needs
