Invitation

We are pleased to invite you to the next Management Forum at FH Kufstein Tirol. In this edition, we will address one of the most pressing political and economic challenges of our time:

How can effective climate protection be achieved without unnecessarily putting prosperity and individual freedom at risk?

Our discussion will focus on an aspect that often receives too little attention in public debates: cost efficiency.

Keynote: “Whatever the Cost? Why Climate Policy Needs Efficiency”

Cost efficiency is an often overlooked issue in climate policy. In the DACH region in particular, climate measures are frequently shaped by a “whatever it takes” approach—despite the fact that such policies can involve significant costs in terms of economic prosperity and individual freedom.

In her keynote, Dr. Schröder will address key questions, including:

  • Which policy instruments are truly effective?
  • What role do energy policy and emissions trading play?
  • How can climate policy be designed to be market-based, cost-efficient, and effective at the same time?
