Q+You Team and Volunteers after the successful Colour Run.
In October 2025, the team of the practical project Q+You from the Sports, Culture & Event Management master’s program at FH Kufstein Tirol hosted the second edition of the Colour Run. Colour, pride & pure joy - the Colour Run Kufstein 2025 turned the city into a vibrant celebration of diversity.
After months of preparation, the big day had finally arrived. On Saturday, October 11, 2025, the student team of Q+You from the master’s program Sports, Culture & Event Management at FH Kufstein Tirol hosted the second Colour Run in proud collaboration with Perlen Pride Kufstein. Guided by supervisor Madeleine Johansson, the eight students turned their passion into action and created a day full of colour, energy and inclusivity, where running met pride and the whole city joined the celebration.
More than 100 participants registered in advance and set off on the five-kilometer route along the Inn River under radiant sunshine. The focus was not on the fastest time but on movement, togetherness and colour. At the finish line, participants were covered in all shades of the rainbow, celebrating their success side by side. Instead of medals, awards were given for the most colourful outfits and the best team spirit, perfectly reflecting the event’s inclusive and joyful philosophy.
Celebration continues at the 4th Perlen Pride Kufstein
After the run, celebrations continued as part of the 4th Perlen Pride Kufstein. A special highlight of the evening was the appearance of guest of honor Conchita Wurst, who brought excitement and star power to the event.
The participants had a great time at the event.
“Once again, with great energy and dedication, we succeeded in hosting the 4th Perlen Pride in Kufstein. We look back on a weekend full of diversity – from Drag Bingo with Gigi La Pajette, Betty Pearl, and special guest Grazia Patricia, to the Colour Run by Q+You, the most colourful sports event of the year, followed by rallies, drag shows, and a musical visit from Conchita Wurst. [...] What an incredible weekend! So many people came together, united in spirit, to make our pearl of Tyrol – the town of Kufstein – shine in the colours of the rainbow, far beyond its borders”, Betty Pearl, patroness of Perlen Pride Kufstein.
A successful project full of teamwork and creativity
The Q+You team looks back proudly on a highly successful event. Everything ran smoothly, the atmosphere was fantastic, and both runners and visitors gave overwhelmingly positive feedback.
With over 100 registered participants, the team achieved its main goal and also secured the support of strong local partners: Sparkasse Kufstein, ÖH Kufstein and Sandoz. The latter even joined the event on-site and provided the runners with beautiful event shirts.
Passing the torch
With this year’s Colour Run, the current Q+You team officially concludes its project year and hands it over to the next group of students.
Before closing the chapter, there are still a few tasks left - including a final debrief, an event recap, and comprehensive project documentation.
The project team is already looking forward to seeing how colourful, creative and unique the next edition of the Colour Run will be.
