The participating companies were able to see the process optimization for themselves on the store floor of the Liebherr plant in Telfs.

The implementation of process management makes an important contribution to operational success. During their visit to the Liebherr plant in Telfs, the Business Process Management experience group, which includes over 25 Tyrolean companies, was able to see the high degree of maturity of the implementation for themselves.

The Liebherr plant in Telfs, as part of the Earthmoving division, began implementing a process management system many years ago. Mario Moser, responsible for process management and Head of Operational Excellence at Liebherr Werk Telfs (LWT), who founded the Business Process Management Experience Group (ERFA BPM) a few years ago together with Prof. (FH) Dr. Martin Adam from Kufstein University, played a key role in this.

During their visit to the LWT, the participants of the ERFA group were able to see for themselves the high level of maturity in the implementation of process management. This includes, among other things, the documented and up-to-date process maps, which are linked to various documents and IT systems and thus form a basis for knowledge management. Risks and accompanying measures are also defined and assigned to the processes. Important key figures and targets are also linked to the processes, which those responsible for results can use to manage the performance of the processes. The comprehensive process management at LWT is supported by standard market software.

After Mario and his team presented and discussed the wide range of process management activities, the participants were able to see the implementation on the store floor for themselves.
