The courses at the first Health Day at the Kufstein University were excellent and the feedback from participants was positive.

The first successful Health Day on April 18 at the Kufstein University was full of energy and enthusiasm. Staff, students and the public experienced a free and varied program that focused on health and well-being.

The day began at 8:00 a.m. and offered visitors over twelve hours of specialist presentations, various health checks, hands-on activities and various information stands. From active brain training and back health to yoga courses, resuscitation training, stress management and neuromental training, there was something for everyone to strengthen and mobilize body and mind. The courses were not only well attended, but also inspired by motivated and competent trainers who imparted their knowledge with passion. In addition to the employees of Kufstein University, students and the general public were also invited.

INSIGHTS AND FEEDBACK

In addition to the training sessions, the various stations and presentations also offered valuable information on the topic of health. The blood donation campaign with the Red Cross and the free sight and hearing tests in the Hartlauer health bus were well attended. The presentations by Angelika Kirchmaier on nutrition and learning and by Alexander Greiner on men's health were particular highlights. “The offer was very professional and varied and you could attend numerous courses in just a few hours,” enthused one participant from Kufstein. “The trainers of the sports courses were incredibly committed and very competent. The courses were challenging without overwhelming me,” said a participant who had traveled all the way from Wörgl. The staff and students at Kufstein University were also enthusiastic and gratefully accepted the offer.

The Kufstein University's initiative to focus on health and well-being was driven forward with great enthusiasm by Sara Neubauer, Head of Quality & Project Management. “As a higher education institution and employer, we also see it as our role to take our social responsibility for health seriously and raise awareness of the issue. With an impulse like the Health Day, we hope to reach many people.” Her commitment and her vision of promoting health as an important pillar of life were clearly noticeable and inspiring for all participants.

The first Health Day at the Kufstein University was undoubtedly a complete success and left visitors feeling motivated to take an active interest in their health and take away ideas for a healthier lifestyle.
