Startup.Club Kufstein is an open forum for exchange and dialogue for students, alumni, and anyone interested in entrepreneurship, start-ups, and innovation. Instead of traditional lectures, the focus is on short presentations by speakers, which provide space for discussion, questions from the audience, and personal exchange.

Entrepreneurial thinking: experiences, paths, and decisions

This event is dedicated to the question of how entrepreneurial thinking develops and which decisions shape Greens and entrepreneurs on their journey.

The first edition in 2026 will bring three experienced personalities from the worlds of entrepreneurship, the start-up ecosystem, and innovation promotion to the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol.

Guests

Reinhold M. Karner (FRSA)

Reinhold M. Karner is an entrepreneur, author, and mentor with over 45 years of international experience in business management, innovation, and strategic development. Among other things, he is a member of the Advisory Council of the Harvard Business Review and a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (UK). In his work, he supports founders and executives as a sparring partner with a focus on value-oriented and sustainable entrepreneurship.

Bernd Storm van`s Gravesande

Bernd Storm van`s Gravesande is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Bits & Pretzels, one of Europe's leading start-up festivals. He has many years of experience in building, scaling, and exiting start-ups, as well as in corporate innovation. He is also involved in the development of start-up ecosystems and advises founders and organizations on entrepreneurial development.

Jennifer Koller, MA

Jennifer Koller is project manager at the Innovation Network Tyrol. She accompanies innovation and start-up projects in the region, supports start-ups in accessing networks, funding programs, and cooperation partners, and brings the perspective of regional innovation promotion to the exchange.

If you would like to present your start-up idea to our panel, you can do so at the Open Pitch. Simply indicate that you would like to participate when registering for the event. We look forward to hearing your ideas!
