Welcome to TIBCOM 2026 – Trends in Business Communication at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. This virtual conference explores current developments in marketing and corporate communications.
About TIBCOM
The academic conference Trends in Business Communication (TIBCOM) was launched in 2013 and has since become a recognized platform for scholarly exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration. Organized by FH Kufstein Tirol, TIBCOM attracts participants from across Europe and beyond, bringing together international perspectives from academia and practice.
Now in its 12th edition, TIBCOM 2026 focuses on current developments, innovative research, and practice-oriented perspectives in marketing, communication, and corporate communication. Key topics include AI in marketing and communication, digital marketing, consumer psychology, employer branding, sustainability communication, social media innovation, and corporate communication.
The conference provides a space for international exchange, new research insights, and networking between academia and practice. It will be held 100% online and in English. Accepted papers will be presented during the conference and, following peer review, published in a conference proceedings volume by Springer Gabler.

Conference Day
Submission
Participation in the TIBCOM conference requires an accepted academic paper in English. Submissions must be full papers and will undergo a peer-review process.
The detailed style and formatting guidelines for academic papers must be followed:
All full-paper submissions must include the following:
- Title
- Author information (names, institutions, and email addresses of all authors)
- An abstract (maximum 100 words)
- 3–4 keywords
Papers may not exceed 15 pages, including the abstract, main text, and references.
All accepted papers will be presented as part of the virtual conference and published in a conference proceedings volume by the renowned publisher Springer Gabler.
REgistration
- All participants must officially register for our conference. Please use our online registration tool to do so.
- Each paper must be presented by at least one person at the conference.
- The participation fee is 290 Euro.
- The conference language is English.
