Welcome to EuroFM Conference & FMplus 2027
Conference, Exchange, and Networking in Facility Management
In 2027, the EuroFM network and FMplus from the DACH region will come together at FH Kufstein Tirol for the first time. Look forward to several days that bring together practitioners, researchers, faculty members, students, and stakeholders from across Europe and beyond to discuss current topics in facility management. From scientific insights to applied innovation, the conference connects knowledge with practice and strategy with implementation. The focus is on exchange and networking: a place to gain fresh inspiration, make valuable contacts, and create space for joint projects.
Highlights of the 2027 Conference Year
The 31st EuroFM Conference continues the long tradition of European professional conferences, while the EuroFM Research Symposium celebrates 25 years of scientific collaboration and international exchange. In 2027, FMplus will take place for the third time. After previous editions in Zurich in 2025 and Münster in 2026, it will come to Austria for the first time.
For us as a university, 2027 is also a special year: we will celebrate 30 years of facility management studies in Kufstein. At the same time, we look forward to the launch of our international bachelor’s program and to the continued success of our part-time bachelor’s and master’s programs focused on real estate and the built environment. In addition, the 2027 conference will be part of the 15th Sustain & Estate WinterSchool, which brings together more than 200 international students.

Welcome Reception | EuroFM Conference & FMplus
We will open the conference days in Kufstein with a warm reception that brings the community together and sets the stage for the days ahead.

Conference Day | EuroFM Conference and Research Symposium & FMplus
A full day of presentations, sessions, and exchange. In the evening, we will meet for the Networking Dinner at Kufstein Fortress – high above the town.

Conference Day | EuroFM Conference and Research Symposium
Another day of keynotes, sessions, and exchange. In the afternoon, we invite participants to join a site visit.

Saturday, 20. February 2027
Excursion to SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser
Closing session in the snow: we will conclude the conference with a skiing or tobogganing trip to SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser in Söll.

How to Get Here
Sustainability matters to us. We appreciate your support and encourage you to use environmentally friendly public transportation whenever possible. Kufstein train station is only a 5- to 10-minute walk from FH Kufstein Tirol and is fully accessible. Alternatively, you can take city bus line 1 to the Franz-Josef-Platz/Stadtpark stop.
Train Connections
- Munich / Rosenheim: Regular hourly train connections are available from shortly before 5:00 a.m. until midnight.
- Salzburg & Vienna: Both cities are well connected by Westbahn, RailJet, and BRB regional services.
- Innsbruck: Up to two train connections per hour are available, with trains running from shortly before 5:00 a.m. until after midnight.
- Zurich: Regular, fast train connections are available via Innsbruck.
Current information on train schedules and tickets is available on the websites of ÖBB and DB.
International Connections
Kufstein is easily accessible by train from the airports in Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, and Innsbruck.

EuroFM Conference & FMplus 2027 will take place at FH Kufstein Tirol in the center of Kufstein. The compact campus offers modern conference facilities, short distances, and convenient access to the train station, town center, and evening events.
